Yet another "bringing you up to date"!!! :D

Such a lot of thing have been happening in our everyday life over the last few months! AND ... we have enjoyed each and every moment of it all...

Back in August, we had the pleasure of having the visit of E. and A. Thomson from Canada, along with N., H., M. and E.D.. They were with us (on and off, yet most of the time) for three weeks ... and we all loved their visit! While they were here we all went to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, we had lots of after-dinner visits and talks, W. and I had a date out to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (dinner at Sizzlers then a lovely walk and talk along the beach and jetty by the moonlight!), and amongst other things we had a "date out" with E. and A. whilst their teenagers looked after our boys.
Now ... we have some great memories stored up for many days!!!

While our Canadian visitors were here, W.E. (running) fell on his ankle, suffering a soft tissue injury (in everyday language, a sprained ankle!) ... which the dr wanted care taken to make sure it healed properly. The poor child hopped around for 2 days after which we got him some crutches ... causing great excitement in the life of a 7yr old!!! Thankfully we survived that little accident and now we have a pair of crutches stored away for ... (hopefully never needed again!!!).

In September, we had the honour, priviledge to offer hospitality to brother J. D. serving the Lord in Phoenix, AZ and Mexico. We had never met personally before, but were ever so blessed by his visit!! The boys, especially little T, absolutely loved their new found Uncle J.!!! T. and Uncle J. had many a conversation in the car, especially regarding road maps :)
Whilst J.D. was here, there were special nightly gospel meetings held at Conf Hall ... to which W. went every night and the boys and myself most nights. Several days, during the days we had outings, such as to Australia Zoo, Wyvenhoe Dam, Caloundra. ... as well as several conferences where W. and J.D. went, and other assemblies that we visited on Lord's Days. It was a full busy 2 1/2 weeks ... but our spiritual blessings were so great ... we were greatly encouraged! And challenged to continue living for the Lord... (Only one life, 'twill soon be past ... only one deed for Christ will last!).
Grandpa/Greatgrandpa R. was also here with us for several days at the same time and, as always,  we loved having him with us.

Right now, we are enjoying having nightly Gospel tent meetings ... only about 7mins drive from our home ... the joy of fellowship with the Lord's people ... the joy of being where the Lord IS ... the joy of being occupied with HIM who gave HIMSELF for us!!!

and, oh ... the blessing of a family ... we have been so conscious lately of the little and great blessings ... even just as we sit down to a meal around the dinner table ... we feel greatly blessed ... we have a roof over our heads, where the Lord allows us to be, children, a husband, good food on the table, even more food in the fridge for yet another meal, clothes, peace in our home, in the street ... what more could we ask for ... AH, yes ... to live our live to the fullest to bring honour and glory to the name of the Lord ... and the courage and strength to spread the gospel with others ... with the urgency of a long eternity before us ... with ... or without ... Christ!
